The Burlingame Soccer Club is committed to developing soccer players, identifying soccer talent, and recommending players to be recognized at the local, regional, state and national levels. Our mission is to give competitive players an environment in which to reach their soccer potential. BSC coaches are strongly encouraged to recommend players for PDP (NorCal pool) and ODP (CCSL pool) selection. We are proud to recognize that some of our coaches are involved in training and working with the PDP and ODP pool selection programs.
ODP Selections
Cal North has posted the 2012 State ODP Tryout Schedules.
Player recommendations and registration for State ODP selection are due to Cal North by September 1st.
PDP Selections
NorCal has posted its PDP Mission and Information On Player Selection.
NorCal is partnering with ACF Fiorentina, a professional Club from the Italian Serie A. All the players at the regional training center are trained with the “Fiorentina Method”. Fiorentina has developed a scientific method and it focuses on psycho-motor and coordination for young players.
Evaluations
Players and parents are encouraged to talk to their coaches to get player coaching evaluations to determine if their player can benefit from these programs.
